Dermaplaning is a non-invasive exfoliation treatment that is used to remove the top layer of dead skin cells, as well as fine peach fuzz, also known as vellus hair, from the face. Cryo Pro-X, a cryotherapy exfoliant from DMK, speeds up cell turnover by introducing cold temperatures to the skin via polylactic and glycolic acids. This beaded exfoliant rapidly cools the skin, encouraging safe cell turnover and reduction in inflammatory conditions deep within the skin’s epidermal and dermal layers. Cold Mask from Biologique Recherche is an immersive cryotherapy experience designed to offer both relaxation and cryotherapy in the same setting. Often touted as making patients feel as if they are being lightly misted at the beach due to its composition, Cold Mask covers both the mouth and eyes, reducing inflammation all over the face and tightening the skin. What is Microcurrent and How Does it Work?

Microcurrent uses electrical current to stimulate the muscles of the face, neck and decolletage to lift and strengthen the skin. A conductive medium best suited to the skin’s condition is applied prior to the application of electrical probes to the face, neck and chest to optimize results and safely lift, tone and brighten the skin.

Microcurrent’s primary function in aesthetics is to lift and tone the skin and its muscular structure.
